Tavis Smiley Profiles Ryan Mack in The Covenant in Action

New York, New York -- On February 1^st, 2007, community activity and journalist extraordinaire Tavis Smiley released his new book The Covenant in Action which after only one week in circulation has sold enough copies to reach the New York Times bestseller’s list.  Mr. Ryan Mack, President of Optimum Capital Management and a native Detroiter, is the only financial services representative profiled within this historical project.  Mr. Mack was approached by Mr. Smiley’s staff because of his life mission: to build and develop a durable financial empire geared towards educating clients within his community and beyond. He charitably lends his support to inner-city communities by coordinating workshops teaching the principles of understanding the power of financial planning. Unions, churches, government-subsidized housing communities, municipal programs, nonprofits, and especially colleges and universities have benefited from the financial classes/workshops that he has developed and instructed through Optimum Capital Management.

Ryan Mack is Interviewed by Black Enterprise

New York, New York - October 19th, 2007 Optimum Capital Management's President and Founder, Ryan Mack along with his endowed teenage financial literacy group were featured in the November issue of Black Enterprise Magazine. All About Business (AAB), starting in 2005, is a finance program that does not only teach teenagers how to build wealth; it also builds self-confidence while increasing their knowledge in the area of fiscal responsibility. The group's composition and accomplishments continue to make crucial impacts in both their individual lives as well as the individuals around them. As a member of AAB, participants are required to learn Optimum's "Seven Steps of Financial Freedom", memorize these steps, and then conduct seminars teaching these steps to all age groups including adults. In teaching these steps, the members are exposed to life lessons which can prevent them from making the same financial mistakes as their predecessors.

Tom Joyner Recognizes Ryan Mack for Work in Community

On January 11^th, 2008, Tom Joyner of the Tom Joyner Morning Show announced that Ryan Mack, President of Optimum Capital Management, LLC received the “Hardest Working Financial Advisor” Award.  This award was given to Ryan Mack because of his tremendous efforts to educate his community about the principles and practices of financial literacy and fiscal responsibility. 

The “Hardest Working Award” is an award given by Tom Joyner to recognize individuals in the community who exceed expectations in utilizing their career to empower the community and help others.  Mr. Joyner received numerous nominations from many different people whose lives have been impacted by Mr. Mack.  Mr. Joyner commented about Mr. Mack’s efforts in South Africa to teach youth financial literacy, his efforts to teach financial literacy to young people within the group All About Business, and his strong desire to educate those in need about  the importance of managing financial resources responsibly. 

Ryan Mack is Interviewed by Black Enterprise Business Report

On February 9^th, 2008, Ryan Mack, President of Optimum Capital Management, was interviewed by Ms. Shon Gables of Black Enterprise Business Report.  Mr. Mack has been a strong advocate of creating and administering financial literacy programs throughout the country and as a result was asked to appear on the show which aired on February 9^th. 

Ms. Shon Gables asked Mr. Mack about his various programs that he has created and talked to him about his plans for the future.  They discussed programs that he has administered geared to benefit churches, youth, unions, gangs, and inner-city residents.  Ms. Gables also questioned Mr. Mack about the receptiveness of his programming within the minority community.

Ryan Mack to Appear on CNN to Talk About the Economy

On April 1^st, 2007, Ryan Mack, President of Optimum Capital Management, LLC, will appear on national television network Cable New Network (CNN) at 12:00 pm.  He will appear on the network’s new daily segment Issue #1 which focuses on issues that impact the US economy. 

Ryan Mack, long time supporter and viewer of CNN, stated, “Personal financial literacy has a major impact on this economy.  The spreading of this education is very important and any venue that will allow me to teach this information to more citizens is welcomed…especially one as prestigious as CNN.”

Since the publication of this press release Ryan Mack has been a regular on the CNN segment "Issue #1" discussing financial issues that impact the economy and citizens throughout America. 

Ryan Mack to Appear on BET

During January, 2008, All About Business (AAB), the youth financial literacy group formed and operated by Optimum Capital Management, appeared on the BETJ show "My Two Cents". The group was being filmed while teaching financial literacy to a group of foster children in Brooklyn, New York. Three members of the group were personally interviewed and spoke about how All About Business has been instrumental in the development of not only their intellectual capital, but has allowed them to take an active role in the economic progress of their community. Each member spoke high praises of Ryan Mack for his work that he has done with them and throughout their community.
